------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The mandate of the Civil Society Action Team (CSAT) is to strengthen civil society engagement in every component of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (the Global Fund).

The International Council of AIDS Service Organizations (ICASO) is the global host of CSAT and coordinates the initiative internationally.

CSAT, through ICASO and the Regional Hubs (see below), notifies and provides advice and analysis on upcoming Calls for Proposals or ‘Rounds’. You can read more about this in the Opportunities section. You will also find a wide range of information, practical tips, tools, case studies and research from a variety of community-sector organizations in the Support section. The Community Action section is focused on helping the community sector in mobilizing around emerging policy, advocacy and time-sensitive funding issues, such as strengthening the involvement of key populations in Country Coordinating Mechanisms and other aspects of the Global Fund’s country-driven, performance-based grant system. Read more about the CSAT initiative in the section About CSAT.
